Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Although I can print fine from my android mobile, when attempting to scan the error; "there is no connection to the printer" appears

Hi @DWBNE,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to scan from the HP Smart app. Have you tried reinstalling the app?

Make sure the Android phone is up to date.

As you are able to scan from the laptop, this seems like an issue with the HP Smart app.
