Not 2-side scanning properly

HP Recommended
LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In 2-side printing, after first sides done it prompts you to reinsert the pages without turning them over, and click the proceed button. It re-scans the same first sides again!

Hi,

The printer supports 2-sided printing, it does not support 2-sided scanning or copying or an original.

What exact steps are taken? are you trying to print or scan both sides?

What application are you trying to scan both sides from?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.  Apologies for jumping in here.

Check out this resource on how to scan 2 sided document on the printer and also to save as a small PDF file after scanning.

This is done using the HP FULL solution software which can be downloaded and installed from this link:

Hope that helps!
