OfficeJet Pro 7740 will not scan to Mac Mini.  Linked with USB cable and they cannot see each other for scan function.  Can print however second document & on in que will take more than 5 minutes between documents to print unless the printer is unplugged with hard restart.  Then all documents in the que will print until que is empty with no gaps between documents.

I went through all of the steps you showed.  I was able to use the Mac Application, Image Capture successfully.  Nothing else seemed to work.  But this solution is much better than scanning everything to a thumb drive and then transferring everything to the Mac Mini procedure.  It's a shame the all in one feature just does not seem to work of Mac OS Sonoma 14.5.
