OfficeJet Pro 9025e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've looked all over for a solution to this, can't get it working at all. Just installed a new OfficeJet Pro 9025e. Trying to set up the Scan to Network Folder option, on Windows 10 64-bit laptop. Both printer and laptop are on same wifi network. All SMB options are installed (they have been uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times now, with reboots in between).

Folder is set up and shared, with full permission. Printer and laptop are same time and time zone. Continuous message of:

Network error. Check the printer's network connection and try again.

Cannot get past this at all, no matter what post I try to follow, or what I do. Only thing that has not been done yet is complete uninstall of printer. But can't imagine that would resolve this.

Any help, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kirk

Hey Kirk,

Could you please clarify and let me know what exact network path is used to set up the feature?

Also, is the printer connected to the network  wirelessly or through an Ethernet cable connection? any connectivity problem too can cause such an error

Are you setting the feature from the EWS page or the HP Software? please also follow below support document to ensure the proper steps are taken:

The user’s Windows account did not have a password assigned. Once one was created process worked flawlessly.
