Officejet 7740
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good day. I have a Officejet 7740 which worked very well until now: all of sudden, the ADF loads 3 sheets and then gets stuck saying there's a problem on loading them. (EDIT to avoid misunderstandings: it doesn't load 3 sheets together, I mean at the third sheet it loads on the ADF then it gets stuck, always at the third sheet, the third scan)

This is what I tried to do:

- Using brand new sheets

- Cleaning the ADF rollers

- Checking if in the path there was small pieces of previous paper (or external objects anyway)

- Checking the firmware, it has the last version of this year. While it's dated march, it's impossible for me to understand if it only recently updated itself, I can't know if it's a possible consequence of the update

- Checking on the net for other people with a similar issue, no luck

What surprises me is the fact that it always gets stuck at the third sheet, always on the very same place (after loading about half sheet, you can see half sheet on the upper part of the ADF and the second half below it, on the exit). This is a very strange feed issue, the printer seems really loading the previous 2 sheets very well. This test was repeated several dozen times, before / after cleaning the rolls etc. and I've noticed no difference so far.

Someone has a clue for me?

Thank you very much
