Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Officejet 8610 won’t copy, keeps say paper mismatch and spits out blank paper. I tried unplugging the printer power, it now copies but it takes 4-5 minutes for it to copy. Printer makes noise like it’s trying to reset all the time. Same thing happens when I try to print. Please help
