My MacBook Pro using MacOS High Sierra, v. 10.13.6, used to work fine with my HP Officejet Pro 6978, but now nothing will print. A window pops up "looking for printer." I've confirmed that both my laptop and the printer are on the same wifi setting. The printer printed out its HP Network Config Page. It says Active Connection Type is wireless AND "Internet-connected." Further down the page, under 802.3, it says "Status connected." I've reset the wifi connection numerous times on the printer and on my MacBook.  Both are connected to the SAME wifi Internet connection.  I had my ATT router "split" separating the 2.4G and 5G bands. I am using the 2.4G on both printer and MAcBook. I am totally baffled where the problem is. I cannot upgrade the HP problem search feature as it requires v 10.14 or higher. My 2017 MacBook is v 10.13.6 and is too old to upgrade further. I am using Decco extenders throughout the house and as mentioned, they worked seamlessly with printer and PC previously. The Master Decco is Ethernet wired to the other wireless Decco's. The printer's Decco is Ethernet wired to the ATT router and sits a few feet from the printer. How to proceed to have the MacBook "find the printer." Thanks.

A friend just advised me to uninstall, then reinstall the printer. Done and voila, it prints. Who knew?!
