Officejuet 8710 is stuck in fax mode. I cannot just print

My printer setup is for printing.  however, in HP Smart, the printer's name is appended with ***8710 (Fax).  I want fax on my 8710 as an option only when I want to fax...not when I want to just print.  How do I fix this issue in HP Smart?

• Right-click on the printer's name without "Fax" and select Set as default printer.

Adjust Settings in HP Smart:

• Open the HP Smart app on your device.
• Ensure you have selected the printer without the "Fax" label for regular print tasks.
• If the printer with "Fax" appears, switch to the version without "Fax" for printing purposes.

Remove Fax Configuration (Optional):

• If you do not frequently use the fax feature, you might consider removing or disabling the fax configuration temporarily.
• Access the printer settings through your computer or the printer's control panel to disable fax as the primary connection or function.

Use the Print Feature:

• Make sure when initiating a print job, you are selecting the HP OfficeJet 8710 as the printer option and not the fax option.
