PDF document is acquired blured, out of focus an so is the subsequent print whereas up to now the acquired image was always sharp, precise dot to dot like the original. This seems to have happened after the device got connected  to  the HP smart system.

I also have a new optical fiber telephone line.

Any suggestion ?

I reply to my own question so that it can be of some use : 

Scanner started acquiring blured documents because for some reason ( elecricity interruption ? ) it had reset its resolution indication on the lowest value of 75dpi. It has been enough to put it back to 300dpi to have again the usual precision.

So if this happens just check the resolution setting.
