Microsoft Windows 11

The device records 8.5x11 paper in the paper tray as 7.5x10.5 paper, so when an item is scanned from the glass it is printed as though the paper is 7.5x10.5.  How is this error corrected?

@thecompprgr, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand that the paper size while making a copy is not correct. Let us try these steps:

Open the paper tray and close it. On the printer screen, you will get an option to select the paper type and paper size.

Make the right setting.

Go to Copy > Settings > Paper size > Select the required size

Now, make a copy and check the result.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
