i am getting this error when trying to scan. I am able to print with no problems. 
I have tried for 3 days. Have deleted/added printer back on laptop. Have powered on/off. Have tried with single & multiple pages in feeder - assuming the documents go into the same position as when wanting to print.

Have only just noticed a "paper" icon underneath the handle - for want of a better description - and this is where you feed the paper into machine for scanning. My bad, but still, a simple 1line instruction in scanning page of App would have saved me literally hours of time.
