I'm trying to scan a black and white document. I open the scanning function, settings as follows: document, letter, gray, 300 dpi.  The scanned image comes out blurry, barely legible and the file size is enormous, 200 some MB.  This is not a complicated document. Normal tax/font size, black-and-white, no graphics, colors, etc.  I went through the online suggestions under "poor scan quality"; useless.  Any suggestions?
