Hi, I have an HP OfficeJet 3830 All-In-One Printer & it will not receive a fax. I can send a fax but not receive one.  What can I do to fix?

If you call the line from a voice phone does the fax try to pickup? If not, you may have a line issue that your phone provider will have to address. If it hangs up in the middle of receiving a fax you may need to adjust the speed and error correction mode of the fax to get proper receiving.  Using the wrong phone cable can also cause problems. Most of the devices ship with a cord that only has 2 wires in it.
