Hey!  So suddenly my ability to scan from the HP app stopped.  It said this feature is not available.  Not sure why - worked fine for over 2 years.  I've shut the printer down, unplugged....I can print and fax but can only camera scan.  I have an 80 page document I need to scan!  Any ideas?

I see that you are facing scanning issues with your HP OfficeJet 5255 All-In-One Printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to enable scan to computer.
1. Open the HP printer software. From the computer desktop, click Start, select HP from the app list, and then select the
icon with the printer name.
2. Go to the Scan section.
3. Select Manage Scan to Computer.
4. Click Enable.
