The command center screen is opaque and next to impossible to see any choices. The printer works when given a command by the computer but un able to make copy because I cannot read screen.
We ordered a replacement part but part did not fit my printer. Have been told the part is unavailable but not by HP

Chances are that the display has gone bad. I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix it.
If the printer part is not available we cannot do much, I'd suggest you use the scan feature instead of copying and the same can be printed.
