I have set default file format to pdf through the web browser both for scan to folder and scan to e-mail. However, my printer scans jpg (unless i set it to pdf manually before every scanning job). I have new newest firmware (the old firmware that came with my printer less than a week ago was was also a nice piece, could not do duplex scanning at all ) This sucks.

 

Please, do something, or tell me what to set and where, because this is not OK. Why on Earth does it scan jpg files while default is set to pdf both for scan to e-mail and scan to folder????
