Product: HP ENVY 5050 All-in-One Printer

Hello, can someone help as my device would not just scan properly? I have tried all I can, but every time you want to scan any document, it shows coloured (grey if black-and-white) vertical lines that do not make any sense. I have had the printer for a couple of years now, its scan function has not worked once.

Did you make a copy and check if that works fine?

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

No it does not make copies either.
