Hi Everyone.

Since applying the recent urgent firmware update, my scanner is behaving strangely.

Using Windows 10, OSX or iOS app, the results are the same.

When I scan a page, the image has random black or deep coloured areas. Generally, the right hand side is now always incorrect.

If I repeat the scan, making no changes to settings or document, the results are different every time.

An example scan of a blank page is shown above. Other scans have black boxes everywhere, sometimes covering almost all the page.

Any ideas?

Solved: The fault was the contact image scanner (CIS), replaced, works perfectly now.

A fiddly job but, being careful, it only took an hour or so.
