I am becoming totally turned off by HP printers. Why am I getting a message print app turned off, and how do I turn it back on. As is my printer is worth very little. Please help. I've tried the browser turn on method and all I get is you are not protected. This is ridiculous. Please help.

I am using the HP office jet Pro 9016 product. One day the my laptop computer, an HP Notebook computer would no longer connect to the printer, The app says scan only. I have hard wired the printer, but I want to use it online. I am using the Windows 10 operating system. I've never had this kind of problem with any Computer/Printer combination before. As you can tell I am very frustrated.
