Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Spent 45 min on the phone with HP "support" initially with a well-meaning guy who ultimately told me he couldn't help because he was Windows and I used a Mac then with the Mac guy who told me it was a Cloud services problem then with the Cloud team who told me they were windows and not Mac, and ultimately disconnected me. Have tried all the things mentioned in the various threads and to no avail. Really totally frustrating to have to control the printer through the iOS HPSmart app where the shortcuts work fine. What happened?? On my end it looked as though the printer was going through a firmware update about a week ago and since then the shortcuts have not worked.

Anyone out there?? HP?? Printer is fine and a great printer but now I have no functionality to scan to Drive or Dropbox. Using the control on the iOS app is really suboptimal. You can't specify a 2-sided scan for instance. Please HP help us out here.
