OK - Some general information --

Some printers, notably those without a true touchscreen printer control panel, simply do not offer any thing from that printer control panel except the basics - no fancy bits, no resize.  Press the scan or copy button and what you see if what you get.

If the printer offers "Copy" resize options, those settings will be available on the printer control panel and / or, for some printers, there are additional options and controls in the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).

Pages tend to scan at the size submitted, though, depending on the manner of submission, there might be discrepancies between the original size of the data (file) and the way the data appears after capture.

Reduce Size for mystery content on mystery printer

  • Scan at actual size
  • Save the file
  • Print at the size wanted

Operations of this type are easier in Windows -

Mobile printing apps tend to follow the size of the paper.  One exception:  HP Smart - Mobile - iOS - offers a manual Transform > Resize option - not particularly accurate but it is at least "something".

General Example - HP Smart - Windows - Print on larger paper at selected Print Size

Also in Windows -

With the installation of the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software,

PDF and Image files can be printed at any size you want.
