Hi @Kendra47

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for confirming the model—HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b. If it’s asking for a username and password before you can access settings or reset it, here’s what you can do:

First, Try Default Credentials

Some HP printers use default login info:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin or 123456

If those don’t work, it means the credentials were changed—possibly by someone else or during setup.

Factory Reset Without Password

You can still reset the printer even if you don’t know the login:

Option 1: Reset via Control Panel

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press the Setup button (gear icon).
  3. Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
  4. Select Restore Factory Defaults.
  5. Confirm the reset.

This will wipe all settings, including passwords, and restart the printer.

Option 2: Check Inside the Ink Door

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Look for a label with a PIN—some models print the default password there.

Option 3: Use HP Smart App

  • If the printer is connected to Wi-Fi, open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
  • Go to Advanced Settings.
  • You may be able to reset the printer or change the password from there.

Let me know if you want help using the HP Smart app or locating your printer’s IP address to access its Embedded Web Server.
