Rotated pages will not stay rotated when hitting 'done'.

Hello out there,

After I'm done scanning, sometimes I need to rotate the Landscape pages.  I click "edit", then rotate the page, click "done", then the page goes back to the way it was.  Sometimes it stays rotated, most of the time it doesn't.  It's inconsistent and makes no sense.  What is going on?

@OleCrubs

If you are referring to the Edit > Rotate behavior in HP Smart (Windows), the issue has been reported (several times).

Presumably, the following might work:

Uninstall the HP Smart Windows App > Restart computer and log in > "Get" a new copy of the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store

Works for some - not for everyone.

What else?

HP Scan and Capture lacks some of the features of HP Smart Windows - that said, the Rotate does work and you can save the edited results.

HP Scan and Capture - Microsoft Store (formally Windows Store) - Requires Windows 8 or higher

Example

HP Scan and Capture > scanning image on glass as a PDF

Scan_and_Capture_Document_Rotate_1Scan_and_Capture_Document_Rotate_1

What else?

Lacking other options at the moment - Wait for HP Smart to get "smarter".
