Can the Officejet 4630-e scan a 14” legal size paper and convert/compress/output it to an 11” letter size PDF without losing the bottom of the page?

Hi,

You may scan the Legal document from the top feeder, be sure to select Feeder and set the size as Legal (either from Image Capture or HP Easy Scan) and scan as PDF.

 

Open the scanned file with Adobe Reader, select Fit to Page and select the Paper Size as US Letter under Properties, this will scale and resize the original to Letter size.
