Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

If your HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer is only scanning 2–3 pages at a time using the HP Smart app, please try these steps, 

Check the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF):

  • Ensure the pages are properly aligned and the paper guides are snug.
  • Clean the ADF rollers with a lint-free cloth and a bit of water to remove dust or debris.

Use the Correct Scan Source:

  • In the HP Smart app, when you select Scan, make sure the source is set to Document Feeder (not Flatbed).
  • Also, ensure the setting for multi-page scanning is enabled (especially if scanning to PDF).

Update the HP Smart App:

  • Make sure you're using the latest version of the HP Smart app. Outdated versions may have bugs or limitations.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website and check for the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Reinstalling the drivers can sometimes resolve persistent scanning issues.

Try HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • This is a free diagnostic tool from HP that can automatically detect and fix scanning issues. You can download it from here.
