Welcome to the HP support community.

You can use the HP scan application to scan double-sided Id card as a single file.

Under the page sides option select 2 sides.in the scan settings.

Refer this HP document to install and use HP Scan application:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

I understand. Apologies for the miscommunication. According to the printer specification, this model printer does not support 2-sided scanning. You may try to do it manually(flip the ID card manually).

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
