I understand you are facing an issue with the connection between your printer and the HP Smart Scan app. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

  • Restart both the printer and the computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check the network connection: Ensure that both your printer and your computer are connected to the same network. If you're using a wireless connection, make sure the signal strength is strong enough.
  • Update the HP Smart app: Check if there's an update available for the HP Smart app. Updating to the latest version might resolve any bugs or compatibility issues. HP Smart
  • Reinstall the HP Smart app: If updating doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app on your computer.

  • Check permissions: Ensure that the HP Smart app has the necessary permissions to access the scanned images on your computer. Sometimes, security settings can prevent apps from accessing certain files or folders.
