Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is connected to the same network as your computer. Check for any network connectivity issues.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues.

Update Drivers and Software:

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers and software installed for your printer. You can download them from the HP Support website.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • HP provides a diagnostic tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor that can help identify and fix common printing and scanning issues. Download and run it from the HP website.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that the printer is set up correctly for scanning. Sometimes, you might need to reconfigure the scanner settings in the HP Smart app or the software you are using.

Reinstall HP Smart App:
