We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using the HP scanning software, the scan initiates and the bar lights, goes about 1/3 the way across, stops, then starts again, going about 1/3 more then stops and finally goes the remainder of the page. The bar then parks correctly and the preview dialog box pops up with a blank preview and all adjustment sliders are grey.

 

If I click in the preview pane, the sliders turn blue, but nothing shows in the preview. The option to save is grey. I have reinstalled the software from a web download on the HP site, as well as run the scan doctor. If I use the HP Smart utility, the scan works as expected, but I would rather use the other utility.

 

Why am I getting these results?
