HP LaserJet MFP M436nda Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have installed Printer Driver for Windows 11 successfully but unfortunately when scan the said not start due to some error display in screen.

i.e. C:\Program File (x86)\HP\M436 Scan\EDC.exe - the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.  Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tools for more details.

Hi,

Please type %temp% into the search bar and open the listed Temp folder.

open the HP installation folder which begins with 7Z, if there are several such folder locate the newest one or the one modified when installing the software (e.g. 7zS850BB4A5)

Note: if you do not see any such folder, launch the installation file used earlier and following its extraction a new installation folder will be created, as once completing the steps close the shown installation dialog.

Open the Data folder.

Double-click vcredist_x86.exe and complete the installation.

Restart your computer and check if you may see any difference while trying to scan.
