macOS 10.15 Catalina

My scanner is no longer working. I tried to use  Apple Image capture and HP Easy Scan and both return the same error: failed to open a connection to the device (-21355).

 

What to do?

Hi,

Please make sure your operating system is fully up to date with Catalina 10.5.3:

Once completing the update, if any such available, reboot your Mac and printer and check for any difference.
