Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The scan from the glass no longer works.  The save icon button is gone. The image preview button "floats" and you can't catch it.  The preview is only part of the image.  It says I'm on the most current HP Driver version 2.0.

I understand you have issues with scanning on the Mac OS 10.15 Catalina. 

 

macOS 10.15.3 (released 1/28/2020) contains the fix for HP Easy Scan. Also, remove and add the HP Easy Scan Application on the computer.

Once updated HP Easy Scan will be able to scan from the glass or the ADF as normal.

 

Scan to Computer is also fixed with 10.15.3.

 

We did notice that if the printer is in sleep mode, some times an error will be reported.  But if you wake the printer by inserting a page in the ADF or touching the screen you will be able to scan normally.

 

Also, try using the HP Smart App to scan. Refer to the document HP Printers - Using the HP Smart App (Mac) for help.
