Hi @1KIKI,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer doesn't have an option to directly scan to PDF, you can still achieve this by scanning your documents in one of the supported formats (JPEG, PNG, Bitmap, TIF) and then converting them to PDF using software on your computer or online tools.

Here's how you can do it.

  • Scan your document: Use your HP printer to scan the document in any of the supported formats (JPEG, PNG, Bitmap, TIF). Follow the instructions provided with your printer to perform the scanning operation.
  • Convert to PDF: Once you have the scanned image file, you can convert it to PDF using various methods:
  • Online Converters: There are many online tools available that allow you to convert image files to PDF for free. Websites like SmallPDF, Zamzar, or Convertio offer such conversion services. Simply upload your scanned image file, and they'll convert it to PDF for you.
  • Using Software: If you prefer to do it on your computer without uploading files online, you can use software like Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, or other PDF editors. These programs usually have options to import images and save them as PDF.
  • Save the PDF: Once the conversion is complete, save the PDF file to your desired location on your computer.

By following these steps, you can effectively scan your documents and convert them to PDF, even if your HP printer doesn't have a direct option for scanning to PDF.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
