Scan problem

HP Recommended
HP Office Jet Pro 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

All of a sudden, I can no longer access my scan option when I go to HP Smart Home Page.  When I click on scan, I'm routed to a page that asks for me to either create account, sign in or close.  No matter which one I click on, it routes me back to the HP Smart Home Page.  I can't get help from virtual agent or a live agent.  This has been going on for over a month.  Can not get help from HP

@Gerrydean, Welcome to the HP Support Community!


I understand you are not able to scan using the HP Smart app. Are you not able to sign in to the account?


Use the HP Scan Extended app to scan and check if that helps.

Click here to download the app. 

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
