Scan to Email (*GeeMail*) on All-in-one HP 9010 series, 9015e, 9018e, 9015, etc.

Installed my new HP 9018e All-in-One office inkjet. Impossible to get the Scan to email function work with my "geemail" address.

Called HP Tech Service after reading too many posts. They were superb and helpful. Simple solution if you can't make your"geemail" address work for the scan option;

Go to your"geemail" account,

Choose the "Security" option on the left hand side

Scroll down to "Less Secure Apps Access",

ENABLE the "Allow less secure apps" . 

Test and try your Scan to email option again and it should work.

Works like a dream.
