The issue may be a limitation of the service you are sending mail through. How big are the attachments on mail that you do receive?

I believe @Repairatrooper is correct.

If you are not receiving any bounce message back, try this to confirm:

Instead of scan to email, scan to your PC and then email it out of your email program, Address to your recipient and CC: yourself on the same message/ That way, one of 3 things will happen:

  1. - your own ISP refuses to send it - it won't even leave the outbox. Your ISP has a limited email transaction size.
  2. - it passes your ISP's transactional limit, but your outgoing mail server refuses it - will generate a bounce message back to you stating so,
  3. it passes your ISP's transactional limit, your outgoing mail server accepts it and sends it on, but the recipient's incoming mail server refuses it - you may receive your copy (if your inbox message size allows it) , and it ill generate a bounce message back to you about  why the recipient couldn't receive it.

HOW BIG are the ones that DO arrive with 6 pages?

There are still some older mail servers out there with 5 or 10 MB limits. Other standard ones may be 20-35 MB, and considered generous if they allow 50MB or more.

You can scale down the DPI to help make the file smaller off the printer.

You can print to computer and then do File -> Print -> Microsoft print to PDF  (yes, even if it's already a PDF)  to make it smaller before sending manually in your email program,.
