Scan to Folder on Mac - Destination Folder is read-only - HP LaserJet 500 colorMFP M570dn

The Scan to Folder function on my HP LaserJet 500 colorMFP M570dn worked fine for years and then all of the sudden I start having the following problem.  When I use the Scan to Folder function to scan a single page and the original is blank or has very little information, the scan works/saves properly.  Once the original has more graphics or text, I get the following error on the Screen of the Printer/Scanner:  Cannot write to \\192.168.1.180\myname\Downloads  Destination folder is read-only, has wrong permissions, or is no longer available.  If I scan a page with minimal information on it, it scans fine and without error--a successful scanned PDF size is less than 43kb. 

I have reset the printer to factory settings but still get the error.  I have the latest HP Utility (Version 5.42.1 (1825)) and firmware (20180201).  I am running macOS Mojave version: 10.14.2 (18C54).  I am using an Ethernet connection between the printer and the iMac.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
