Hi there, 

 

the 9020 does not scan to the Mac mini by starting the scan with the 9020: I want to start the scan by using the interface of the 9020, so I am able to do several scans in a row without changing between 9020 and the Mac all the time while starting the scan on the Mac.

 

It is possible to start the scan by using the apple-software (scan), it is possible to start the scan with the App HP Smart.

 

The app HP Smart also does not have the possibility to check the "scan to computer", no function available. The 9020 itself says that I have to select the "scan to computer" in the app... TADA!

 

Driver, software, system - all updated.

App uninstalled and installed.

9020 reseted.  

Connected via WLAN first, than I used a USB-cable. 

 

The 9020 worked properly in a windows-system. 

 

How to fix this?

 

PS: The 9020 has no possibility to change the duplex-print via software while using Mac (argh).

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you want to scan to the computer from the printer, but are you able to scan from the computer? Is scan to computer-enabled on your computer?

 

Download the HP Utility for Mac from here. (Download HP Easy Start from the installation software tab)

 

Try following the steps below-

 

Open the HP Utility Folder and go to Scan to Computer

 

 

Try Scanning.

 

  • Are you trying to turn off duplex printing?
