Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

I have just purchased my HPOfficeJet Pro 9018e printer.  I have set up my account and app on my computer and phone.  Every time I try to scan to either email or scan to computer, it tells me I have to go to set up to set up those functions.  I have already set up and turned on those functions, so I am not sure what to do at this point.  Thanks in advance  for your help

Start here:

HP Printers - How to Scan

 

If you have not done so, install the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software.

 

How-to Video:

HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 | 9022 |9025 | 9026 | 9028 |9018 Download & Install HP Full featured software

 

If you wish to use the HP Smart Windows application to scan content and then "Share" / send the content to email.

Before you do so:  Add the sender's email address to your Windows Mail application.
