And why that information is not available in specification, in "scan to"

Yes, the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn supports scanning to a network share. Here’s how you can set it up and why it might not be prominently listed in the specifications:

Scan to Network Share Setup:

Network Setup:

  • Ensure your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn is connected to the same network where the network share (shared folder) is located.

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network.
  • Enter the IP address of your printer into the browser’s address bar to access the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS). The IP address can usually be found by printing a Network Configuration Page from the printer.

Configure Scan to Network Folder:

  • In the EWS, navigate to the Scan tab or section.
  • Look for options related to "Scan to Network Folder" or "Network Folder Setup".
  • Enter the details of the network share: server name (hostname or IP address), shared folder name, and credentials if required (username and password).

Test the Configuration:

  • Save the settings and perform a test scan to ensure the scanned document is successfully saved to the network share.
