@JaninaDob, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Scan Connection Issues for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When scanning is unsuccessful and the connection to the computer has been lost, it usually indicates a network or software issue. Here are the steps to troubleshoot this problem on a Microsoft Windows 11 operating system:

Step 1: Check Connections

  1. Wireless Connection:
    • On the printer control panel, touch the wireless icon.
    • Make sure the printer is connected to the same wireless network as your Windows 11 computer.
  2. Ethernet Connection:
    • Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the printer and the router.
  3. USB Connection:
    • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.

Step 2: Restart Devices

  1. Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it, wait for 60 seconds, reconnect, and turn on the printer.
  2. Restart Computer: Make sure the computer is properly restarted.

Step 3: Check Printer Software

  1. Reinstall Printer Software: If the printer software was uninstalled, download and reinstall the HP printer software from HP Software and Driver Downloads.
    • Wireless Setup Wizard:
      • On the printer control panel, touch the wireless icon, go to Settings, and select Wireless Setup Wizard to follow the onscreen instructions and reconnect to the network.
    • Ethernet Connection:
      • Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the printer and the other end to the LAN port on the router and reinstall the HP printer software.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
