Hi @HDG27,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

For the HP 7510 All-in-One printer, the handling of scanned documents typically follows these principles:

Internal Memory: The HP 7510 does have internal memory, but it's primarily used for temporarily holding data during printing or scanning processes. Scanned documents are not saved long-term to this internal memory. The internal memory is generally not designed for long-term storage of scanned documents.

Memory Devices: To save scanned documents, the HP 7510 generally relies on external memory devices. You can insert a USB flash drive or an SD card into the printer, and scanned documents can be directly saved to these removable storage devices.

Computer and Network Storage: Alternatively, you can scan documents directly to a computer or a network location. This requires the printer to be properly set up on your network and configured to send scanned documents to the specified location.

Saving Scanned Documents

Here’s how you can typically save scanned documents using the HP 7510:

Using a USB Drive or SD Card:

  • Insert the USB drive or SD card into the appropriate slot on the printer.
  • On the printer’s control panel, select the “Scan” option.
  • Choose the “Save to USB” or “Save to SD Card” option (depending on which device you have inserted).
  • Follow the prompts to scan the document, and it will be saved to the inserted storage device.

Scanning to a Computer:

  • Ensure that the printer is connected to the computer via USB or network.
  • Use the HP software installed on your computer to initiate the scan.
  • Choose the destination folder on your computer where you want to save the scanned document.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
