Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw
Operating System: Android 9.0 Pie

When I first bought this printer, the scanner worked from the android App and Windows computer. This printer is set up as a stand alone wireless printer. Works fine from the computer, and prints fine from the app, but the app does not see the scanner function. Been acting like this for some time.

I have tried every thing like reinstall etc. Tried doing it from wifi direct and still no good.

I have been able to connect to a friend's HP inkjet from my phone, on his network and all worked there.

I am at a loss. Thanks.
