Product: HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

My scanner/printer is 2 weeks out of warranty and now will not scan or print. I have run the in app diagnostics which says nothing is wrong. Troubleshooting says uninstall the app and software. The app will NOT uninstall. Printer drivers were reinstalled with no change. Scan Doctor from HP will not open. Phone tech support is not available to me because apparently HP is not interested in supplying customer service or tech support for someone who's device is 2 WEEKS out of warranty on a device that is barely over a year old. Virtual assistant is just as useless as the automated phone service that first sent me to sales, then said my device doesn't exist...which is odd, because I'm looking right at it. I'm thinking HP products are not worth the time, money, or headache. Anything to add HP???????? Or do I simply set fire to your product and go buy an Epson?
