Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11

I have the message 'scanner error 17' on the screen of my printer. 

I have followed instructions to turn the printer off and on again and again, I have unplugged from extension cord and plugged into the wall socket  but still not change.

 

 

Even the copy print shows this error.

 

Does anyone have the answer please??
