Scanner is not working properly

Everything was working fine and bringing still works well.  But suddenly whenever I scan, light blue lines started appearing on the left side of scanned papers.  The more I scan, the more lines seem to appear.

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

What happens when you make photocopies on the printer?

Are you using the flatbed or the Automatic Document Feeder?

Meanwhile, refer to the document HP Printers - Resolving Copy Problems to isolate and resolve the issue.

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
