I cannot get my new Lenova Computer to connect with scanner. Printer wors well. I see that this is a frequent problem. I have tried everything on your standard AI answers. Does mnot work at all.

Hello @Zionelec ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  1. shut down printer via on/off switch
  2. shut down the computer
  3. wait about 60 sec.
  4. Switch on the printer, wait until the printer has finished its initialization
  5. switch on computer, log in (with admin rights) and wait about 10 sec.

... and now everything's working again?

 

If not, we require the following information:

  1. Product / Printer Model / Partnumber: ?
  2. Operating System: ?
  3. Connection Type: USB
  4. Which software package was installed: ?
