I own a HP ENVY 5660 Serial # [Personal Information Removed] and it seems the scanner won't communicate with my PC. It worked fine the last I used it, which was just last week. The PC asked me to RESTART after I used AVG to resolve and issue. So I did and it took 45-60 minutes for the PC to reboot. Once rebooted I went to my HP ENVY 5660 Printer/Scanner icon to start scanning paperwork and when I tapped on scan the error message said HP ENVY 5660 series was not found. I ran a test print and the PC communicated with the printer. What can I do to get the Scanner to communicate with the PC?
