Subject: Scanner takes 5 minutes for one page scan

Hello!

Something is wrong with the scan software on my new HP 4152 Printer. The Scanner does work, but there are long delays during startup.

This morning, when I started the scanner, it took two minutes before it was ready for the first scan. The blue line on the first splash screen went across the screen 18 times before the Scan screen finally appeared.

Then after starting the first scan, the scanner took 3 minutes before this scan was ready to be saved. So the scanner took up to 5 minutes for just one scan of one piece of paper.

This is much too long and I think the scanner worked better shortly after purchase than it does now.

Is there some software update for the scanner on this device, or some other way to improve the scanning time on this device.
