Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just tried to use my scanner and had to wait while HP did some updates. Now, I get a message saying that the printer is not active but it shows it's on and gets the green checkmark on my screen. I have turned everything off and then on again, with same error message. I hate updates!! What do I do now?--I need to have this scan asap. Thanks!

 May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
